OUR STORY

With a veterinarian for a dad, I grew up surrounded by animals, but dogs were always my passion. I would read dog breed bibles for fun and memorize every fact about the different breeds I could cram in my brain. I watched dog shows on TV whenever I could and dreamed of one day entering the dog fancy for myself. In my studies, I found a small section in my handbook on Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers. Fourteen-year-old me immediately became enamored. I read every scrap of information on the AKC website, National Breed Club site, and any other book I could get my hands on. For over a decade I watched and learned and waited for the opportunity for my very own Toller.

Vixen came into my life in May of 2018, the start of a dream over a decade in the making. We were a match made in heaven, and took to competing as soon as she was old enough. If a sport existed, she was willing to try it. Every step of my journey alongside her has been a dream come true as I find my place within a community of people who love these dogs as much as I do. Now, I work closely with several mentors in the community to establish a line of these little spicy sport dogs to preserve them for other kids reading dog breed books.

It has always been my passion to preserve historic breeds for future generations. As a new breeding program, we understand we have a responsibility to prioritize the health and wellness of each of our puppies. We are working hard to ensure we are following the standards of the breed. We focus on providing well-tempered, athletic puppies that also make great family pets.
